Event Timeline

Date: December 16, 2015
Time: 19:00 to 22:30
Place: Cinema Museum, London, SE11 4TH

JAAGO Foundation UK is delighted to announce a unique fundraiser event, REEL Bangladeshwhich we are hosting on Wednesday 16th December at 7pm, in London’s captivating Cinema Museum. The event will feature a screening of powerful documentary film Mass E Bhat – a portrayal of a developing country through the eyes of its children – followed by a discussion and a director Q&A.

The evening doesn’t only offer an evening of cultural insight, inspiring discussion surrounding ‘film as a tool for social change’, and meaningful mingling:

all £10.50 of the ticket proceeds will go towards supporting our education projects in Bangladesh.

REEL Bangladesh will be held in partnership with non-profit documentary-makers and Mass E Bhat directors Rainbow Collective, along with digital arts and culture magazine Bizarre Culture. During the evening, we hope to empower guests to become part of a change, turning curious people into active advocates for education – and showing them the strength of storytelling as a tool to help Bangladesh’s children break out of the poverty cycle.
